Learn How to Make Money Online

With so many people in the world making money online, you would think that it would be simple to do.

But if you have ever tried to search for “online jobs” or “online business,” then you know how hard it is to find any legitimate online jobs. The search engines are full of advertisements for schemes and get-rich-quick scams.

Of course, there are real ways to make money online, if you can find them. The most obvious is selling stuff on eBay. There are a lot of places to buy merchandise wholesale and then resell it.

But if you are like me, then you are not really interested in dealing with merchandise. And, when you have to buy merchandise wholesale, there is always a lot of investment that you have to fund.

I review ways to make money online, and through reviewing many websites, I have found three good ways to make money on the Internet without having to invest a lot of money.

1. Information website business – You can make money with an information website in two ways. Either you can compile the very best information on a subject and charge users a subscription to it, or you can give away the information for free, and make money by advertising products on the website. This type of business can make a lot of money, but the trick is getting visitors to come to your website.

2. Online jobs – There really are online jobs available. They are sometimes hard to find among all of the scam advertisements, so I recommend subscribing to a service that lists legitimate online jobs. An online job pays a wage similar to a standard job. Either you are paid by the hour (for jobs like technical support), or (more common) you are paid by the work completed. For instance, a data entry job I once had asked me to go through scans of old newspapers and enter the names and dates on the obituaries. (It was for a genealogy website.) I was paid $.50 for each complete entry, and I could do about 20-30 per hour. Other online jobs may pay much more depending on the skill set needed.

3. Paid Surveys – Getting paid just to take surveys sounds too good to be true. Why would any company pay someone just to take a survey? But paid surveys are legitimate and are actually a good way to make extra money. Businesses need to know very detailed information about products they are launching. For instance, they may want to know if males aged 21-25 prefer to buy beer in a brown bottle or a clear bottle. Finding out this information could lead to much higher sales, so they are willing to pay well. Money earned taking surveys can be very comparable to an online job.

Perhaps the hardest part of making money online is sifting through all of the scams and finding legitimate businesses to deal with. So if you have given up on making money online, I encourage you to keep trying. It is not just a pipe dream, as millions of people have proved.
